A small bird told us of an Eastern Meadowlark singing in the background on a recent episode of the teen soap Degrassi. The setting is not the meadowlark's usual grassland, but a tree-lined schoolyard. When you need birds in your sound track, you should just choose a pretty song, right? Wrong!
